Sondra Freckelton continues to live and work in the house and on the farm in the Catskills that she shared with Jack Beal. This etching is a reverse view from their house. Jack had previously made a pen and ink wash drawing of this scene, somewhat larger than this etching. That drawing is illustrated in Eric Shane's 1993 book simply titled Jack Beal.
